AS Level Media Studies Final Project January 29th, 2026, Post 11 Aspects of Sound To Be Used in My Project, Part 2 – Diegetic Sound and Broad Technical Elements: One of the most important and apparent aspects of diegetic sound is the dialogue within a story. It is obviously useful for conveying information and exposition of the story, but also helps the viewer better understand the characters thoughts and motivations. In this project, dialogue will be used to further demonstrate the grasp the nation's regime has over its citizens, including the family in the project. The conversations between the family should feel heartfelt and genuine, which should clash with the nature of their conversational topics (these topics of conversation should feel 'robotic,' like reciting a script, clashing with the tone of speaking).
